Under the Integrated Rural Development Programme (IRDP), the Parishad implemented various livelihood and skill development initiatives. Training was imparted in body building (fabrication work), tailoring, machine-based leaf plate (Dona-Pattal) manufacturing, and audio-video operations. Financial assistance was facilitated through bank loans, which were successfully repaid by the beneficiaries.
Under the Fruit Processing Programme, rural women were provided training in mushroom cultivation and the preparation of value-added food products such as jelly, jam, and pickles, thereby promoting entrepreneurship and self-employment opportunities.
Under the TRYSEM (Training of Rural Youth for Self Employment) Programme, rural women were imparted vocational and employment-oriented training to enhance their economic independence and livelihood opportunities.
The Parishad successfully organized cataract surgery camps benefiting 40 individuals. In addition, mobile medical units conducted health camps in villages, where free medicines were distributed and free medical treatment was provided to needy rural residents.
The Parishad facilitated the formation of cooperative societies for brick manufacturing, body building, and stone-cutting activities. Regular support was extended for their operation and capacity building.
Furthermore, twelve Women's Self-Help Groups (SHGs) were established and provided continuous training and institutional support to promote financial inclusion and sustainable livelihoods.
The Parishad organized the Kartik Oraon Football Tournament to identify and nurture sporting talent among rural youth.
Rural players were provided opportunities to participate in competitive sporting events and receive systematic training.
Outstanding performers were duly recognized and awarded for their achievements.
