Admission Procedure

Admissions to Kartik Oraon College are conducted strictly in accordance with the guidelines prescribed by Ranchi University, Ranchi, and the Government of Jharkhand. The College is committed to providing a transparent, merit-based, and student-friendly admission process.

Eligibility Criteria

Intermediate Courses

  • Intermediate in Arts (I.A.)
    Candidates must have passed the Class X Examination from a recognized Board.
  • Intermediate in Science (I.Sc.)
    Candidates must have passed the Class X Examination with Science and Mathematics from a recognized Board.
  • Intermediate in Commerce (I.Com.)
    Candidates must have passed the Class X Examination from a recognized Board.

Undergraduate Courses

  • Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)
    Candidates must have successfully completed Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board.
  • Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.)
    Candidates must have successfully completed Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board.

Admission Process

  • Submission of online/offline application forms.
  • Publication of merit lists as per University guidelines.
  • Verification of original documents.
  • Payment of prescribed admission fees.
  • Confirmation of admission.
  • Orientation Programme for newly admitted students.

Documents Required

  • Mark Sheets of the qualifying examinations.
  • School/College Leaving Certificate.
  • Migration Certificate (if applicable).
  • Character Certificate.
  • Aadhaar Card.
  • Passport-size photographs.
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable).
  • Income Certificate for scholarship purposes.
  • Residential Certificate (if applicable).

Reservation Policy

Reservation of seats is provided in accordance with the norms prescribed by the Government of Jharkhand and Ranchi University.

Scholarships

Eligible students are encouraged to apply for various scholarships offered by the Government of Jharkhand and other statutory bodies from time to time.
